The Laser Mont-Blanc center has acquired the Excimer Wavelight EX500 platform.
Its technical characteristics are benchmarks in the field of sphero-cylindrical treatments and aberrometric coupling.
The Wavelight EX500 laser is FDA approved and the platform is currently the most widely distributed in the world.

The company ZIEMER Ophthalmic System AG, based in German-speaking Switzerland, supports the Femtolaser Laser from the Geneva Laser center.
Used since 2009, the center acquired the FEMTO LDV Crystal Line from ZIEMER. Since 2023, the laser has been replaced by the FEMTO LDV Z6, ensuring treatments that meet the most recent requirements.

The characteristic of this Femtolaser is the use of particularly low energy for atraumatic lamellar cutting.
The Femtolaser Z6 from ZIEMER Group AG is being distributed worldwide.

The Laser Mont-Blanc center aims to provide ophthalmologists specializing in refractive surgery with a technical platform and a set of skills allowing the laser treatment of vision disorders (myopia, astigmatism, hyperopia and corrections for presbyopes).

The Laser Mont-Blanc center is the result of a partnership between three groups of actors involved in the field of refractive surgery:

The technical team

The Laser Mont-Blanc center offers patients and partner doctors the expertise of a permanent team.
The operational team is always made up of a responsible Excimer EX500 Alcon Laser engineer and an operator for the Femto LDV Crystal Line trained and authorized to use this platform.

The team is constant, unchanged for many years, allowing the security of interventions.

In close collaboration with the operating doctor, the technician validates the information and the progress of the process using the double check method.

Stewardesses and nurses are part of the team to prepare and support the patient throughout the stages of the laser treatment.

Always attentive to the patient, the stability and competence of the staff are a guarantee of the quality of the service and therefore the result.

Maintenance interventions are only carried out by engineers of the respective EX500 Alcon and Femto LDV Ziemer Lasers.
