&lt;p&gt;At a rate of 500 impacts per second (each impact measures 0.8 mm and 0.40 micron at the center), controlled very precisely by a high frequency tracking system (250 refocusings per second), the curvature of the cornea will be modified in order to treat the vision defect. The duration of the sculpture is around 5 to 30 seconds, depending on the visual defect.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h2 class=&#034;spip&#034;&gt;The FEMTOLASIK (laser in situ intrastromal K&#233;ratomileusis)&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In this variant, the remodeling laser (Excimer) is applied in the thickness of the cornea after surgical cutting of a flap of corneal tissue put back in place at the end of the procedure.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Cutting is carried out by a Femto second laser (LDV ZIEMER Z6) which allows the creation of particularly precise shutters.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Visual recovery is rapid. Respecting the superficial layers of the cornea, reducing scarring, makes it possible to treat more serious vision defects.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h2 class=&#034;spip&#034;&gt;La PKR (photo-k&#233;ratectomie r&#233;fractive)&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In this group of procedures, the principle is to remove the superficial layer of the cornea: the layer of corneal epithelium.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The laser is therefore applied directly to the surface of the corneal stroma. The difference between these techniques lies in the way of removing the epithelium and the modalities of postoperative treatment.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;i&gt;Advantages&lt;/i&gt; :&lt;/p&gt;
